The Student Aide, School-Age Counselor assists the Lead Teacher, Assistant Lead Teacher, and Assistant Teachers to implement the Center’s child development program, and maintains classroom and joint-use space. In addition, the Student Aide supervises children.
The Madison Area YMCA is looking for part-time, licensed bus drivers that have their CDL with P & S endorsement to transport children in the Madison and Chatham areas. Drivers will transport children to and from the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center, along with periodic field trips to area points of interest.
Monday - Friday: mornings and afternoons

CERTIFIED PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER
We are looking for a qualified Preschool Lead Teacher in a Morris School District Preschool Expansion classroom for the 2022 - 2023 school year. This is a 10-month position beginning in late August 2022 and running through June 2023. Opportunities for additional summer work at the F.M. Kirby Children's Center are available. Teachers in the MSD Preschool Expansion classroom follow the Morris School District calendar for vacations and holidays.
The Substitute works under the direction of the Lead Teacher or Assistant Lead Teacher and is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of Center children, implementation of the curriculum, care and maintenance of classroom, and joint use space when coverage is needed in the classrooms.
The Assistant Teacher works under the direction of the Lead Teacher or Assistant Lead Teacher and is responsible for ensuring the health, safety and well-being of Center children, implementation of the curriculum, care and maintenance of classroom and joint use space, and ensuring support for the Lead Teacher/Assistant Lead Teacher in parent communications.
